Each 100 grams of red adzuki bean contain 21.7g of protein, 0.8g of fat, 60.7g of carbohydrates, 76mg of calcium, 386mg of phosphorus, 4.5mg of iron, 0.43mg of thiamine, 0.16mg of lactoflavin and 2.1mg of nicotinic acid. Lysine content is high in protein of red adzuki bean. It is good to mix it with cereals to make bean rice or bean congee. Its most popular use is for making bean paste or used as a material for cakes.
